If it wasn't they couldn't make any money. They wouldn't have any power. None. No need to smuggle anything. No need to buy guns. No need to build submarines and fastboats. No need to murder informants. No need to kill anyone. Portugal have proven what many studies already understood. If all drugs are legal and controlled, many many problems are immediately solved. It solves problem without creating new ones. Go look at the facts. The debate is done. Before Portugal it was open for debate. Not anymore.

Never heard a better argument for legalization. I didn't know about Portugal. Couldn't agree with you more. We are all adults and responsible for our own actions.
