I think you are right. This is what a medical breakthrough being discovered looks like in action. Another point Prof Snape made which stuck in my mind is that the positive affects of NNZ-2566 remained for the 14 day monitoring period and may well have remained but they stopped the monitoring after that period.
To a layman like me Prof Snape sure seems to me to be announcing NNZ-2566 as a major medical breakthrough.
