Lee Chean Chung was first elected state assemblyman in GE13, re-elected GE14. He is an EE turned politician. Associated with SMSL as head of media IIRC; not sure if he still holds that role. He seems genuinely interested in environmental issues, but his FB page suggests to me that he's a nice guy and level-headed. I think he has three children.
The guy in the middle is Wong "I'll burn down Lynas" Tack. He ran for office in GE13 and lost by only a few votes; ran again and won in GE14 by beating the same incumbent. He's an career environmentalist turned politician. He started Himpunan Hijau to stop Lynas and worked with other NGOs. At some point he was head of SMSL; don't know what his current role is with either Himpunan Hijau or SMSL. Also don't know the connection between Himpunan Hijau ("Green Assembly") and Gelombang Hijau ("Green Wave"), but I think there's two of each in green standing behind.

Fuziah Salleh on Wong Tack's right. She started SMSL ten years ago or so.
The guy in the black tee seated at the table with three politicians is, I believe, the current chairman of SMSL, Tan Bun Teet. He definitely seems dedicated.
I don't think any of them have changed their minds about Lynas. Very thin data set at this point. They're in power now and that usually sobers these folks up relative to their campaign or opposition status, in my experience. Except Trump, lol.
How the people feel about Lynas is real important going forward, as the one thing every politician wants is to be re-elected.
