Her expertise is targeted therapy - so definitely radiation research here, from PB is a first.
Radiation and Priscilla Brastianios , in brain mets does take some getting used to. But maybe Priscilla was made aware sometime ago of the paxalisib/radiation/MSK clinical studies.
That paxalisib result from the phase 1 radiation trial at MSK....... in brain mets would have caught the attention of CNS researchers all around the world - and certainly brain mets is her field of research.
Certainly of some at least passing interest here.

AbstractThe proportion of patients developing central nervous system (CNS) metastasis is increasing. Most are identified once symptomatic. Surgical resection is indicated for solitary or symptomatic brain metastases, separation surgery for compressive radioresistant spinal metastases, and instrumentation for unstable spinal lesions. Surgical biopsies are performed when histological diagnoses are required. Stereotactic radiosurgery is an option for limited small brain metastases and radioresistant spinal metastases. Whole-brain radiotherapy is reserved for extensive brain metastases and leptomeningeal disease with approaches to reduce cognitive side effects. Radiosensitive and inoperable spinal metastases typically receive external beam radiotherapy. Systemic therapy is increasingly being utilized for CNS metastases.
Summary and future directionsAlthough CNS metastases confer a poorer prognosis for cancer patients, recent and ongoing work continues to expand on treatment approaches to improve care for patients with these tumors.
There is a growing role for the use of focal radiotherapy in managing CNS metastases along with novel systemic targeted and immunotherapies. Ongoing trials to further evaluate the utility of these treatments in CNS metastasis patients, future work to identify additional therapeutics, increasing representation
