I mentioned 2 days back (refer quoted comment) how fast hot stocks can rise, once they shake off temporary weakness. I mentioned TON and MJP in particular. Different stocks no doubt but useful analogy nevertheless.
Since then, TON and MJP have continued smoking ahead with 100% returns over the last few days. This is what happens once hot stocks come back into favour, and it can get very difficult to get back into those stocks again, if one intends to seek a low cost position as a long termer.
CYP has had a decent rise today, and interesting to note that some of the higher volumes of the day were when the price was rising. Good sign in my books.
I don't over analyse short term movements too much. I recently did a detailed FA on TON 2 weeks back when it was languishing at 15 cents. It fell around 10% in the following days but is up over 100% since then.
I similarly like CYP due to its longer term FA - very low market cap, massive skin in the game, low costs with licensing model, game changing technology in field of medicine, loyal long term investors, good cash position, massive re-rate very likely with any positive announcement, etc.
