Recent burn-out of Growatt Li-I storage battery highlights inherent problem with Lithium-Ion.
It's fair to ask:
Are they appropriate for deployment in a tinderbox environment like the Australian summer, where each year there are many days of extreme temperature and fire hazard?
Those that come with inbuilt cooling system like Tesla will operate just fine. Until the day comes when the cooling system fails.
Then what? Maybe your house burns down and takes the whole district with it?
