While based on 2014 trends, I think it justifies wariness of the preliminary report's downgrading of the viability of wave contra solar / wind. Household solar in this country is near saturation and the push for wave technology has as much to do with limited island space as it does costs.

Compared to electric vehicles and the inordinate amount of media-time devoted to Tesla, wave/tidal technology is superior in reducing emissions when measured by cost-effectiveness (according to the book) than electric vehicles.
