A couple more shillings from a former 'pure chartist' on the TA/FA debate ...
It's REAL simple ... fundamental analysis will tell you whether a stock is worth having (or not), and technical analysis will tell you when to buy and sell it.
And I'll add liquidity to that relationship. In my own trading, I look for at least 100 buyers with a 2/1 buyer/seller ratio. That's not a set of hard & fast numbers, but it provides a useful framework to have alongside. On balance, the ratio works!
Right now (0930AEST28SEP22) on DRE: FA ... tick; TA ... tick; B/S ... 316/122 ... tick!
DRE? Things look pretty good right now. A fair bet!
By the way, there was NOTHING on the WA1 chart to indicate the rocketing share price two days ago would happen.
