Re management holding shares. One of the worst jobs in the world would be a part of management in an ASX listed company. Your holding of shares is soooo scrutinized. If you buy or sell you’re dammed if you do and dammed if you don’t. But the fact is that management simply can’t sell any shares when a stock is in a downtrend as it would cause an avalanche of selling. Markets don’t take to well to managements ever selling.
A question needs to be asked. Why hasn’t management bought in further to try and stem the flow of the downtrend? Well I have a lot to say about the relationships that managements have with insto’s but the environment here isn’t the place. Let’s just say that it’s easier to raise capital at the lows for exploration companies than at highs.
