Been reading on HC since 2015, have followed DRE for a bit more than 12 months and given I would have saved thousands of dollars had I listened to 2ic, and given the amount of hate he was given for preaching that the SP was falling, I felt he deserved some appreciation. Can be egotistical at times, but so can most of the regular posters here, and there's nothing wrong with engaging in some online argy bargy.
I'm probably a good test case into the theory that the purported 'downrampers' impact people's decision to buy. There are many more folk highly praising and bullishly positive about DRE and I listened to them. If anything, the 'upramping' convinced me to buy. I hold nothing against those who are bullish, it was my naivety and inexperience that has cost me a fair chunk. I will still hold about 25% of what I purchased as the price dropped, too, because I do believe the company has value and with some good results and a bit of luck it will go up.
