I think the recent CPI data in the US has proven that interest rates are not coming down any time soon. It also indicates a stagflation period with no end in sight. We have heard a lot of nonsense in the media and by the Fed Chairman and even our own RBA chiefs. At the end of the day they are trying to protect their jobs, they are trying to keep the public confident and throwing money around asset fields such a property to help their own elites and interests. So of course we are going to hear a lot of bs from them all! The moment the property crash takes place, the upper class and elites from both sides of politics will have a field day snapping up cheapies and the middle class will be in a world of hurt. “You will own nothing and be happy”. Many are already struggling in this cost of living crisis across the board. The camels back just hasn’t broken yet due to the bs and lies going around the media and the sheep are still taking the bait. Once a recession or even a depression is confirmed, that’s when gold will really perform as it has done historically. I am very happy that the DRE team are now focusing heavily on gold.
