Yes, the Federal Government and WA State Governments stance against Nuclear Energy and Uranium Mining is very surprising. Especially considering most left wing governments such as in the USA and the EU are incredibly bullish on Nuclear power.
All these lies in the media about nuclear energy being inefficient and expensive etc have been exposed. At the end of the day it seems like their interests in renewables - wind, solar, battery, hydrogen etc are being protected. A lot of these companies and their mates in these sectors have huge influence from our current governments. They know if they allow Nuclear Energy to go ahead, this will greatly diminish the market share of these other energy options.
However, recent weather events and massive increases of costs have proven that we need a viable option and nuclear fits the program in every way Imo.
