Yeah good questions, I can remember we did a fair bit of that stuff. The data is available but you have to spend a lot of putting it all together. There’s a few platforms that offer varying volume analysis widgets for that purpose but here’s the thing. When a stock goes from 15 cents to 1 cent then you know straight away that 80% of the registry would be trapped above. Might be a few early settlers that have ridden the wave plus managements are always holding plenty. (Poor buggers) The other thing is that you can’t make any capital on spending all the time on that sort of data but you can identify where a large supply zone might kick in on any uptrend which is always valuable information.
Regards to the SOI, sure they can do a consolidation but not many management teams have the stomach for it. But in combination with another name change they could do one and go again. You don’t have to be real smart to realize how difficult the next raise is going to be. The terms of the deal they’ll need to make won’t be pretty IMO. Its certainly not a tight register.
