Many investors are saying REEs are where Lithium was 5-6 years ago. Take a look back at lithium 2018-2019. At its lowest, some of the big players were well below where they had started 2-3 years before that (cir2016). Then bam the rest is history. Also go read posts here on HC during that time for PLS and the likes. Everyone was crying rivers.

IMO most of the time the market head-fakes and tree shakes harder than expected. So expect it and you'll be fine.
