Koenigsegg have made a dark matter motor that should have permanent REE magnets, this thing is 6 phase, 38kg and generates 600kw with 1250NM torque. Truly amazing IMO!
This takes 750A of power to run, but goes to show hybrid drive and electric cars are only a battery evolution away from making petrol obsolete.
I think the world political spot fires need to be resolved before the next big push for green transport occurs though.
I hope these guys have an announcement soon, the TY one scares me! But the SP will keep slipping without one.
