A bit of research- Black Cat syndicate want to reopen the 450k tpa plant at Paulsens, they have ore but not enough for a more sustained operation to justify the cost of a restart. It is mostly bitumen all the way as far as I can make out, and does not seem to have any hilly area so road trains which are common in the area can be used. Are there jump ups? Anyone familiar with the likely route? A fair share is on the main coastal highway used by many road trains every day.
It looks like the SoM opencut ore will be well suited to the Paulsens plant with a very high % yield. JV discussion/talks waiting on the initial resource estimates. As Mangaroon area has had plenty of mining all around and along this line fast tracking a mining start could be achievable. Win-Win.
