what worries me with "pure"chart investing (tech.analysis) is that fundamentals as to why the graphical records performed in a particular way, are just conveniently swept under the carpet.
i myself think that the only reason chart investing could be beneficial to "smart" traders is that it panders wholeheartedly to herd mentality and momentum investing.
in other words, i think that a top psychologist can outperform any so called ' gun ' analyst.
