NOELLYN, I note that you are a shareholder in EXCO Resources but not in CDU.There has been much speculation over quite a time now that Xstrata would move on EXCO but they have held off.
One would have thought that with Ernest Henry needing greater throughput Xstrata would have acted by now to ensure a continuity of supply. Exco seemed the logical choice being only a short distance away, yet no deal has been done and time drags on.
I would have been pleased for your sake if an Xstrata takeover of EXCO enabled you to walk awaay with a profit if that was your desire.I would also have been pleased in that just maybe Xstrata had enough supply with Exco under the belt that it would leave CDU alone.
Now neither of us holders in EXCO and CDU know where we stand. The opening up of CDU'S data base to interested parties which is currently underway may in time provide an answer.
With respect to your suggestion that the Board of CDU should resign ,I would draw your attention to the fact that the top shareholders are the ones who would need to initiate such action and to date they have been steadfast in retaining their holdings and , like me, are looking forward to mining.
As you continue to post on CDU as a non shareholder, I thank you for your continuing interest.
