I e.mailed the Darwin port Authority if when dredging was going to take place to allow vessels bigger then panamax size to berth, their reply was.

We currently developing studys to be undertaken in 2008-2009 to investigate the dredging, the studies will take 12 months and the dredging mobilisation possible 18 24 months thereafter.

I guess we will continue to stay with the panamax ships for time being, when we ramp-up to 1.5mt thats one ship every 14 days, 3mt a ship every 7 days, and beyond that one ship every 48 hours to use bigger vessels is a big cost saving to TTY and looking at the darwin wharf East Arm could be possible to load two ships at the same time.
