A toy similar to a spinning top used in games of chance played by children and adults at Hanukkah.
Actually, I believe it's well over a year ago that the intrepid Bunya (may he get well soon) first drew our attention to this cheerful contribution to community consultation by Origin.
But thanks anyway ei, because Origin just can't remind us too often that the 100ppb of benzene found in samples of fluids taken from its "hydraulic fractured exploration wells" is "very low", if not "at the edge of detection". I guess this must be why it is taking Origin so long to test for the source of the mysterious BTEX, something we Cougar followers understand better than most. (Has anyone else noticed the equally mysterious absence of the word 'carcinogenic'?)
And yes, we are aware that the testing processes used to do this kind of expert scientific analysis are "complicated" and we'd be amongst the last to expect "instant results". Anyway, don't worry Origin. Take your time. This year, next year, it doesn't really matter. The patient folks at DERM understand how busy you must be and how complicated the water testing is. They will be delighted to receive the results whenever they're available. Meantime, just carry on fraccing those gas wells while everyone sleeps easy, reassured that "there has been no impact on surrounding landholder bores".
