Power of Siberia 2's new route makes Russian gas supplies to China more feasible

It sums the current situation up pretty well and includes a very handy table that gives us some idea of what the Chinese are paying for gas.
It is important to understand that underneath China & Russia are pretty good mates as are their leaders.
Russia is offering a good deal on the Power of Siberia Gas (Will be about 1.400 PJ/Year during 2021 compared with Elixir's say 140 PJ/year) because the US is pushing their shale gas at discounted rates at the moment.
(Presumably in $US & 1 MMBtu = 1.055 GJ)
