The sale is the big driver. No question. The rig will get work as long as people want to explore in the PNG. That looks very likely for the next decade. What I want to see is competence in operating the rig (is it operated by our partner?), and then any proceeds paid out as a dividend or a stock buy back.
A buy back makes sense until the shares trade at least to cash value, assuming we close the sale of the lease and the share price remains depressed.
Lot's of ifs and buts which I'll flesh out once something happens.
