With LRV, they chime on about how this stock has gone up 100`s of % and claim that was because of good management, I don`t know, but it seems to me that it was only because of circumstances, luck if you like, a once in a lifetime event where they happened to be in the right place at the right time. I suspect the very experienced and well educated finance lady at the time (Harvard no less) had more to do with the workings of that deal than the rest of the board. As you mentioned, why did she resign especially and crucially just before the financing deal, doesn`t make sense, I would love to have been a fly on the wall at that time.
I think it is easy to push the SP lower because many investors bought in at a stupid price, low teens, so they are more likely to bail when they see the SP go down a few cents. This is the game I think.
For me, the reason I continue to hold is because of the value in the ground and the relentless move towards war, what two commodities would be so important during these times? I think the games will continue until the big boys have filled their boots, the anchor is pulled up and the information we have all been waiting for is released.
Anyone who listens to me is a blinkin idiot because I know nothing about investing but perhaps a little about human nature.
