LTL,
"This is only the beginning"...absolutely! :)
China basically laid its cards on the table late last
month, when Su Bo,[top dog] for industry and technology
said,..'regarding REE management,we have a 'very clear'
idea and direction, which is environmental protection
and long term sustainable use of resources.'
Translation...
"We need all our heavies"....and if the rest of the world
wants them, then be prepared to pay Top Dollar.
A simpleton could grasp that Beijing,by restricting the
flow of elements/minerals,[including tungsten,lithium,
molybdenum and graphite] are focused on 'economic
domination,' they love the smell of it and will feast
on it for a century.Barring an all out nuclear war.
The same 'focus' is glued to our farmland and many
farmers who have worked their collective butts off
for decades, with little return, are now being offered
up to 10 times their land value by these modern day
Genghis Khan's,for the wealth beneath and the food
growing capacity of our best soils.
Produce grown via this 'land grab' will go straight
to China, along with much of our inherited wealth. Its
turkey time for China, gobble, gobble, gobble and their
catch-cry is getting louder every day.
Imagination, coupled with horse sense is one of our
greatest gifts....
An example of how a commodity can 'run' given enough
rope. Rhodium,[used in catalytic converters,jewelry,
electrical components, etc] climbed from $U.S.530oz in
2003 and peaked at $10,000oz in 2008. Then fell back
to $760oz in a few months, when the credit crisis hit
and sharply reduced new car sales.
Rhodium now trades around $1550/1450oz and is poised to
escalate again with Deutche Bank 'priming' the charge.
Only 25 Tonnes of Rhodium is mined annually, mainly by
South Africa and Russia.
Rhodium was a 'tester' used by the 'elite' to see how
much mileage could be gleaned by manipulating a given
commodity over time.[IMO]
For every oz of Rhodium produced, there are 114 oz of
gold mined and the production percentages of Rhodium
V. Gold, may well be a catalyst for the future ratios
between HREEs and LREEs.
So what is the next commodity,[that the world can't do
without] that is 'primed' to have a 'mega run'...?
"If" Beijing pulls the pin on HREE exports, and they can,
then NTU could [with continuing drill success] jump on
the Man Tracks of Rhodium's legacy and who knows what
monetary heights 'heavies' could reach and we may not
have to wait 'years' to find out.
There is an old saying in China...'if you pass a rock
ever day and pay it no attention, then it has no meaning.
However, if you make daily offerings to that same rock,
then it will have great power.
May the 'Extended Dome' bearing eastward, be 'Our Rock
of Fortune.'
Go Well Guys.
