Sunday Creek drilling approved • 10 drill sites on Sunday and Sardine Creek targets approved • Additional hole will follow--up mineralisation on Granite Creek
The Victorian Department of Primary Industries has approved all ten drill sites on the Sardine Creek and Sunday Creek anomalies. Clearing of the access tracks and sites will be programmed in time to follow on from the current Granite Creek program. Figure 1 shows the approved drill sites in relation to the HeliTEM anomalies. The strong mineralisation intersected in the second hole at Granite Creek, as reported on Monday March 4th, will be followed up with another hole from the same site, oriented at 115º to pass through the centre of the conductive anomaly. Hole GC01A was terminated at 435 metres, the limit of the available drilling rods. The hole will be left open pending analysis of the results. Figure 2 shows the completed holes and proposed follow-up hole GC01B.
