When you think of it, what would the Martu do with $12-13 million, or whatever extra "Joe" can get for them.
OK infrastructure is probably in need but what after that.

I keep thinking of that saying "give a man a fish and he'll eat for a day, teach him to fish and he'll eat forever."

An example, the people of NSW receive a royalty from mines in NSW which goes into consolidated revenue for all NSWelshman, no just for the people in the suburb or council boundary where the mine is.

I have no issue with the indigenous people being helped/assisted etc., but that sort of money for a group could possibly mess things up for them more.

Perhaps these type of royalties go into a fund for all indigenous people?

I admit as a holder of RWD I have a bias for the mining to get up and running, however I do hope this bargaining doesn't ruin it for all parties.
