POW Lodged for drilling program on new Joint Venture tenement

Gateway Mining Ltd (‘Gateway’ or ‘the Company’) is pleased to announce that it recently lodged a POW
with the Department of Mines and Petroleum, WA, for a further 1,800m Reverse Circulation (RC)
drilling program on the new Joint Venture tenement M57/633 in Gidgee, WA (refer to Gateway
announcement on 12 August, 2013).

It is expected that drilling of these additional holes will commence in the first half of October, 2013.

Objectives of the upcoming drilling:

? Drill to the west of ore-grade intersections at The Cup prospect (e.g. 27m @ 1.42% Cu from 89m
in GRC200 & 22m @ 1.31% Cu from 74m in GRC183) on the new JV tenement M57/633

? Test below shallow gossanous intersections on The Chalice horizon that have significantly better
geochemistry than The Cup horizon.

? Test the interpreted westerly dip of mineralisation at The Cup as per recently completed MLTEM
survey

? Test for a potential magnetic feature association between the magnetic response and VMS base
and precious metal mineralisation. If the suggested association is well founded, The Cup/The
Chalice could indeed be a very large system of significant dimensions
