The problem is repeating Wombat - you find gas, but it's at such low flow rates to be uneconomic to connect up and sell.
Drilling where you know the sandstone is tight is just asking for tro8uble in my opinion, whether it is in the Otway, Whicher Range or wherever.
If you want gas, go play in the Cooper Basin - you'll find it more often than not, and at decent flow rates.
As far as where, I'd say go long on oil. As long as you can.
