Bother ! What a nuisance ! The drilling of Jumonville appears to have "bogged down" so to speak. The latest announcement released this morning (Tuesday 15/07/08) indicates that they are still working on the "rigging down" process with the Rig 72.
The "workover rig" (rig 88) will not arrive now till Tuesday 22nd of July - a whole week away now. So I guess once again it may take 3 days to get Rig 88 into posirion before it can recommence the drilling operation. That would mean a restart about Friday July 25th. The announcement still indicates about 3 days to drill down to 12,550 ft. I am guessing that will take it through the weekend and perhaps some indication on Monday about whether any hydrocarbons of interest have been struck though once they get to 12,550 ft they have to run wireline logs etc to see what is there. So it may be a couple of days before anything definite.
That will mean that Jumonville #1 will have taken a month longer than originally indicated - presuming that all flows smoothly with the continuance of the drilling from 22nd.
