I find the technology very interesting - but the narratives are, atrocious.
e.g. We can use excess solar to make hydrogen.
Ostensibly? Great idea. Use waste power to create valuable goods. Fantastic.
In practice?
Who is going to spend millions building hydrogen refineries that can ONLY operate when solar and wind power are in excess?
10 days per year? 100 days per year?
Absolutely no one.
Either the plants will operate near constantly - or the economics will be so terrible they will require permanent government subsidy.
