LONRHO MINING LIMITED (ASX: LOM) is pleased to announce that drilling has commenced at the first
of 61 priority kimberlite targets at the Lulo Diamond Concession in Angola.
The drilling program has started at the Se12 kimberlite target, which is a large (~36 hectare) magnetic
feature located about 5km east of Lonrho’s Dense Media Separation (DMS) diamond plant.
The specialist BAUER rig has drilled the first hole (RC-01) at Se12 to a depth of 50 metres, and
encountered weathered kimberlite. Drilling of RC-02 at Se12 has commenced.
The bagged drill sample from Se12 is expected to be treated through Lonrho’s DMS plant in the next 2-3
weeks.
