Anyway look up:
Enerdrill.com as you are all know the fearless board have signed a (LOI) letter of intent on(8/12/14) with this firm to drill one assumes.
There drill rig inventory is below shows total dept(TD)
Rig 1 : TD with a 3.1/2 inch tubing. 3,500m
RIG 2: TD with a 5Inch tubing 3,200m
RIG3: TD With a 5inch tubing 5,000m
RIG4: TD with a 4 inch drill pipe 3,000m
Ok that's the drill rigs on the menu, what will we have than?
Well taken from asx ann on the 6th/jan/20011 ( spud date) RED GULLY
TD OR total dept for red gully was 3,975mts so just going to suggest that the only drill which is suited to drill a site around redgully gingin/ep389 tenement is drill rig #3 . So unless the board have a different "letter of intent" gathering dust back in Perth looks like we are not drilling down to were the last board discovered gas and condensate. We possible could be drilling a shallow target like black arrow(oil play) god know's it been long enough since we drilled anything.
See I can be positive! Sort of
Sum up
Clearly no plan to drill ep389
Possible a shallow drill is possible but don't hold your breath.

Boeing, you confuse me, how did you reach the conclusion that they won't be drilling EP389 from the LoI announcement?
As you say, Enerdrill have Rig #3 which is capable of drilling the depths required in EP389 and the LoI announcement clearly states that they intend to drill up to three wells, one of which will be in EP389.
