The first drill target is Assaka (at around 2800m) and Trident (at around 3600m) is the next as mentioned above.

My understanding (and I am looking for clarification here) is that the expectation for Assaka is that hopefully it will repicate at that level the findings of Cap Juby and if that is the case it will be heavy oil which is more difficult to extract and transport. Trident, the primary target, it where is is hoped that light crude (which is apparently the more viable) will be found.

If my above summary is correct, and Trident is a duster but Assaka delivers a sizeable quantity of heavy oil, does this mean that the well is regarded as commercial or does it just get plugged?

Hope that makes sense and one of our HC oil experts can throw some light on the subject.
