I'd have to disagree with your speculation because it was stated by the directors present at the last AGM that ALS is actually sending a representative to the drill site to train and oversee the crushing of diamond drill core and rc samples.

As sending palletized full core samples is a logistical nightmare given the sheer scale of the drilling operations and the world record widths of the pegmatites. (20,000m of core samples will weigh a lot and takes up a huge space).

However what actually transpires is yet to be seen. But I am still expecting jorc by end of Q1 2018 as I'm sure a lot of holders are. And a steady stream of drill results in the meantime.
