Bad news first

1, The well is P&A which is bad news as they don't believe that Goldwyer is worth fracting at this location.

But it is only the first of three wells and either of the next two could come up trumps. with so few well (five or six) drilled sub-salt in the Southern Canning we could get lucky with a new productive reservoir. I also believe the next well is being drilled on a conventional structure as well

Good news

1, The side wall cores had oil fluorescence.

2, They are running the 4" casing so they could fract the well at a later date.

So we shall see.
