"Perseus Mining announced the launch of an institutional Placement of up to $61m (US$45m) and a 1 for 10 pro rata accelerated non-renounceable Entitlement Offer to raise up to $41m (US$30m) for total proceeds of up to $102m (US$75m). The Company noted that proceeds raised via the Equity Raising will be used to fund and accelerate the Co's growth strategy, which includes the development of the Sissingue Gold Project, completion of the Definitive Feasibility Study at the Yaoure Gold Project and increased exploration across its operations. Funds will also be applied to working capital and general corporate purposes to ensure continued balance sheet strength and flexibility. New shares will be issued at $0.50 per share at the record date of 23 June 2016. The offer will close on 15 July 2016".
