Why should they not be important dear old Sentrypetal? If they're not important why did they drill the holes? I thought the exploration team was the best, led by the best (after Mark Creasey and Robert Friedland and a phalanx of others who've actually done the hard yards) and would plonk every hole spot on.
I agree that the underground holes are interesting - drill 3 x 15m long holes to intercept the vein 10m from where you found it in a drive, why not? Good for a pump at least. Not much good for developing a resource estimate 20m x 20m x 0.5m = 200t, hip hooray!
Haven't they quantified the dump resource yet?
