The brains trust will rush off and try to reinvent the wheel and drill in the wrong places!
We know how gummints blow through tax payers money, so $2b will only get a few study's and a couple of jaunts around the place to look at done and it'll be gone.
Tax's will rise and they'll wash and repeat.....
It's going to be interesting to see if the money does get spent and it's not just a political statement, or lip service cause REEs is the trendy place to be right now.
