Might be worth a call to diamond offshore to clarify....I suspect that they can't confirm future contract until the environmental side is sorted.
In regards the date, these are estimated dates. I would hope that Diamond expect to have the Apache project finished earlier then estimated - Oct/Nov. Theres no point in diamond altering the schedule until the Advent contract gets the enviro green light.
Just my opinion, i may be too optimistic though!!
