Seismic survey planned in Queensland

Santos Ltd. and partner Drillsearch Energy Ltd. will undertake a significant 3-D seismic survey covering 210 square kilometers in the Tintaburra Block in southwest Queensland, Australia. The survey will further define reservoirs in five producing oil fields including Talgeberry, Mulberry, Gilboola and Endeavour. The survey also will provide high quality 3-D seismic to identify and map at least 10 remaining undrilled structures including the Birkhead, Wyandra, Murta and Westbourne formations. Part of the survey also will cover the new Mulberry field that was discovered in early 2004.
