Well it appears I was wrong about them drilling the original 28km of holes. Its looks like the initial drilling schedule was based on using two drilling rigs. It is clear that we are currently using only one. Now that we have the money for the full 28km, why are we only drilling 13km? One could guess that is because the want to assess the results of this round of drilling and maybe go back as early as this year and drill more holes in the most promising prospects as they do have the funds.
Using the data given about the drilling so far, the averages depth of holes at PETA was approx. 125m, at Helen and Diomedes 107m and the shallowest at Uno Morgan 69m. Given that Uno Morgan is a new undrilled area, this is more like scout drilling. Let’s hope that most of the mineralization was close to the surface, as indicated by the gossans.
