Well here is some news which will ensure you are around 'for the long haul' :-

STX just Ann d that they have suspended drilling on Marsden-1 due to road closures.

The well is at 1,908m and needs to get TD at 2,604m. before coring and logging will be carried out. Then of course there is the 'back to back' well to be completed before the 918 Rig would be able to be released for MacIntyre-1.

We certainly need some sort of Ann from BKP to update us on their thinking and plannig, however, I suspect that they are probably in the hands of PFC who, will decide what to do next. Their new COO should have arrived in Australia by now so heres hoping something is forthcoming soon.

Otherwise what has happened to all the other interest and diacussions with OS operators? - deathly quiet.

Still believe BKP is one to watch for long termers - there will be opportunities for the brave to accumulate more.

Meanwhile in WA, BRU, NWE and TSV are moving ahead strongly with the recent good news on fraccing - this sort of reaction could occur with BKP when we know when drilling will kick off.

Till then, as far as we know, BKP remains IMO, a 'one trick pony'. Pity that.
