I know I'm replying to my own question, but...
I just had a quick look at GOA's drilling update ann. from today, and they mentioned (on p5) that they sent their cores to a lab in Townsville for assaying (with more results due next week) ! Perhaps this is also a possibility for FNT's Andewa drill core ?
I think there is also an assay lab at Lihir, but I'm guessing that it would only used for "in-house" drilling results ? ...
