I would be seriously concerned about the ethics/professionalism of NSE management if it were to respond to telephone calls from HC members and proceed to discuss materially important info without releasing it to the ASX before hand.
Let's not beat around the bush - Slampoil info was materially important and NSE's report today tells us that it is just complete hogwash. I call a spade a spade - I can't think of an excuse for Slampoil's post but it certainly is not kosher in my book.
Anyone long enough in the share market would be well aware of implications of trading in insider information. To share such info in HC forum is either just plain dumb or mischievious. We are not all novice mum+dad punters.
