    Even at that speed I don't believe the position in the galaxy has much effect.

    Ben, as you can see in this article, the scientist are open to all influences - man-made or otherwise - they just try to determine the relative stengths of these influences and back them up with evidence

    But are you willing to accept man-made co2 into the atmosphere has a major influence, given the evidence or is as you say "... carbon-dioxide associated with human activity is verboten" ?
