Prolly background gas starting up at current depth, AP. Hope they aren't on underbalance mud. Targets r still deeper. Rather see this section cased with the 9" casing, but that still means they need to drill upto 3900m or thereabouts.
Reason being simple, they'll go thro' overpressure zones (ie, the Jamieson Shale), so influxes & mud losses galore basically, so case it & move to the nxt 8.5" section of the well.
FWIW's, chk out annmnt #5 & 7 frm P#1 (25th Feb '09 onwards).
