On reflection, after 20 days of operations at Lockyer-2, I took a look at the Irwin-1 well Time vs. Depth curve (actual vs. planned) drilled by AWE to the Kinga level; Irwin is about 13kms east of the Lockyer Deep-1 discovery well. After 20 days of trouble-free operations at Irwin-1, the well was at the 9-5/8'' casing point after drilling into the Kockatea Shale. So, if Irwin-1 is anything to go by, Lockyer-2 may only just be drilling the shallower Dongara/Wagina section after setting the 9-5/8'' casing.
