LD2 is not an exploration well, it is to prove up the size of resource.
A big difference in LD1 & LD2.
It is not hard for the BOD to argue different disclosure on that basis alone.

I don't find that very persuasive as this is the only asset and they are drilling.
But, they have an argument that they can press as reasonably held.

Also, we don't know what information MIN is passing to NWE as part of the JV.
By this I understand MIN have the information, but I am not sure when they technically have to pass it on to NWEunder the JV agreement.

Those of you waiting for ASIC to do something re disclosure are just stressing yourselves needlessly.
Nothing will change, unfortunately.
There will be people in at MIN getting their daily chuckle out of some of these posts - not fair, but it will happen.

I agree MIN have a goal with the non disclosure, but on this issue we will not change anything.
Hold tight, chill out, grab a good scotch or red (perhaps both), and a bit of patience.
We will get there.

Under a normal JOA, all parties will have access to the raw data. In this age, this data transfer will be almost real-time. The interpretation will be up to the individual companies and the operator will provide their views at times of decision making, i.e. testing, casing, logging etc.

This process is done in a very collegiate manner in most JV's.

The downside to all this for NWE is that I'm not sure they have the staff now to do this real time interpration and they therfore will be leaning on MIN to provide the interp. IMHO, none of the existing board have the technical capcity to undertake that work, in contrast with the previous board who had 2 experienced oil and gas guys.
