Timing can't be ahead of the 24th in any case... they need the "forgiveness" resolution before a CR.
If they want to chance the outcome of G-1 they'd be able to wait another 6 months, can affort G-1 easily, it is the next well that might be a strech (especially if there are more/stronger typhoons (and given recent history who wants to be betting on the weather - just check your insurance renewal...)).
Conservative option is to take another $10 million after spud (due AGM timing) but before entering the reservoir. That is a pretty tight window but that is what I'd be thinking (obviously insiders have more info on farm-out progress etc - which would influence the call).
