The drilling should have started or there should have been a short explanation from the company saying why not and when. This is mere courtesy. The directors are I am sure OK fellows and a girl and they sure know how to ask for options at the AGM so why can't they treat the shareholders with a bit more respect.
Black Swan events and such like are mere flim flam, it isn't hard to do normal polite things if you want to.
